Personal Trainer Overview
Throughout my career the path I have taken has been one of discovery and struggle. I’ve have battle with weight gain prior to working on my own issues with stress and emotional eating. I created a formula for success that has kept me energised, healthy and strong for the past few years, and I want to share my experience with you.
I have been seeing Tom for just over a year now. Like most people I have dieted and seen my weight go up and down, but importantly have not been able to sustain the results. What’s been different this time? A more holistic approach, recognising that diet, exercise and getting your head in the right place to make long term change was required. Through working with Tom, he has made me realise I don’t need to miss out on the things I really enjoy, but to help you adjust your thinking and adapt how you do things. At first, dare I say the exercise was a chore, more because I was self conscious, but Tom encouraged me and made it fun.
Having battled a lifetime with my weight and low self esteem, I approached Tom for help. From that very first contact Tom’s empathy, passion, commitment and ability to put people at ease was evident, making me feel valued, supported and motivated from the outset. His approach to health and wellbeing is holistic and way exceeded my expectations. The personal training sessions are varied, fun and rewarding; words I would never have associated with exercise at the start of this journey!! More than that, Tom is always there for support, communicating often with nutritional advice or just checking how you are doing, and he has the unique gift from personal experience, of knowing when sometimes you just need a chat and psychological support.
