Hello, I’m Ellie. I rowed throughout my time at Shiplake College competing at national events meaning the training I did was very tough. I have recently been running long distances up to a half marathon as I am training for a marathon in a few months time.

Personal Trainer Overview

I live near Maidenhead in the woods. If you think you have had enough of training indoors, then we can up go into the woods for a change! There are many local routes we can go to on a run such as: Crazies Hill, Cockpole Green, Henley and some more. There is also a steep hill in the woods near my house which is a favourite of mine for great high intensity interval training session! I can also come to your house, you can come to mine, or we can go to the local park and perhaps set out a circuit to suit your goals!

My love for fitness first began as a child trying out every sport there possibly was! I have always been a sporty individual who loves a tough challenge. For the last two years, during my time at school I wanted to take my sport more seriously. So, I rowed during my time there, competing at many major events such as Nationals and Indoor Rowing events. Training in the dark, wet, early hours, late evenings was not fun, but it became worth it in the end. After I left Shiplake College, where I studied my A-Levels, I went on to take the Personal Training Diploma course which included: anatomy and physiology of the human body, nutrition, kettlebell training, circuit training, suspension training and high intensity interval training (HIIT).

Over the last few months, I have decided to develop my running. I am currently training for a marathon which I hope to do in the next few months. Training for this is very hard and long, but it will be worth it when I finish the marathon in a good time! I recently ran half marathons quite often and a few smaller runs a week such as a 12km or a 15km
